RB Leipzig have secured their first win of the season in the Bundesliga after defeating Eintracht Frankfurt 3-1 on Sunday.
The match was a closely contested affair, with both sides creating chances throughout the game. However, it was RB Leipzig who eventually emerged victorious thanks to a brace from substitute Yussuf Poulsen.
In the opening minutes of the second half, Poulsen received a pass from Timo Werner and slotted home his first goal for the club since joining from Chelsea in January. The German forward then provided an assist for Nkunku to score his first goal for the team, sealing the victory.
Eintracht Frankfurt, meanwhile, were unable to find the back of the net despite several attempts on goal. Despite this, they put up a strong fight and were rewarded with a point by the referee's whistle.
Overall, it was a solid performance from RB Leipzig, who now sit at the top of the table. They will be looking to build on this success as they look to continue their impressive form in the league.
